These have concluded for the 2024 season, but will recommence in Spring 2025 at the Brockencote Hall Hotel.




SOCIAL MEETINGS


These are held on the second Monday of each month at the Boat & Railway, Shaw Lane, Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove.


We meet from around 7:30pm for open and friendly get togethers, where you can talk to other bee keepers, both new and experienced.    Friends, relatives and non-members thinking about becoming beekeepers are are always very welcome.

EVENING TALKS


Friday 19th April at 7:30pm: Mini Talks & Social.
This will include an update on Asian Hornets, an insight into Flow Hives, plus an exploration of the advantages of small cell beekeeping and how it can be used in your apiary. 




Beekeeping Shows and and Conventions


3rd February British Beekeeping Show (formerly Bee Tradex) 2024 at NAEC Stoneleigh Park.  Trade Show and Lectures.


24th February The Beekeeping Show 2024 at Telford International Centre.  Trade Show with more than 50 exhibitors.


12th to 14th April BBKA Spring Convention at Harper Adams University, Newport.   Lectures, Workshops and Trade Show.


7th September Joint Honey Show at Hagley Free Church.

All members are invited to submit their entries, free of charge.

 

24th - 26th October National Honey show, Sandown Racecourse, Surrey,  includes lecture programme and a big trade show.




Worcestershire Beekeeping Association events


These are events in which all NEWBKA members are invited to participate.



27th to 29th September  Autumn Show featuring Worcestershire County Honey Show. Held at Malvern 3-Counties Showground. Help with setting up and breaking down is welcome;
