November is almost upon us, and although there may be little to do in the apiary, there are some local beekeeping meetings for you to attend.
On Thursday, 10th November, at 7:30 pm in the Biology Labs at Bromsgrove School, the first of our winter talks will be held. Dr Jonathan North, a consultant immunotherapist, will be talking about bee venom allegies.
Later in the month, on Wednesday, 23rd November, the association AGM will be held at Hanbury Village Hall, commencing at 8 pm.
For details of these and other meetings, please see the "Meetings" page.
NEWBKA is a branch of the Worcestershire Beekeepers' Association. It exists to promote beekeeping in NE Worcestershire by providing public information, swarm collecting and by running courses for intending and improving beekeepers.

We have had to make this change because our old website was hosted on the old BBKA server, and there is no space available on the new server.
This format of blogs supplemented by web pages appears to give us greater flexibility in keeping in communication with NEWBKA members. Please look at the site regularly to keep up-to-date.
